Laura Rushton

Laura graduated in 2004 with a BA (Hons) in costume for the performing arts from London College of Fashion.

Since then she has frequently worked as Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre on The Oresteia, King John, Hamlet, As You Like It, King Lear and The Taming of the Shrew as touring productions, Blue Stockings on the main stage and Knight of the Burning Pestle and Thomas Tallis in the new indoor venue, The Sam Wanamaker Playhouse. Also for schools’ audiences, playing Shakespeare Productions of Othello and Merchant of Venice. To add to her work on Shakespeare shows, she has also worked for Propeller Theatre Company, on all male productions of Midsummer Night’s Dream, Comedy of Errors, The Taming of the Shrew and Twelfth Night.
Last year Laura worked on a tour of Saturday Night Fever for Bath Theatre Royal, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof for the Royal and Derngate, and The Roof a dance production for Fuel.

Most recently Laura has been working on the live shows for Britain’s Got Talent.
Laura’s opera credits include IDomeneo (Blackheath Halls), Werther (Les Azuriales Opera Festival), Barber of Seville and Rigoletto (Diva Opera).
